With our process, HRC is 21-23 for stainless steel.
And combined with heat treatment, it could be HRC 52 - 55.
The 3Cr13 stainless steel strip has high hardness and good corrosion resistance under quenching state. Used as turbine blade.
The density of 3Cr13 stainless steel strip is 7.75g/m3
Hardness of 3Cr13 quenching: The hardness of 3Cr13 quenching at 980-1050 C is lower than that at 1050 C, 45-50HRC after oil quenching at 980 C and 2HRC after oil quenching at 1050 C. However, after 1050 quenching, the microstructure grains are coarse and brittle. It is suggested that heating and quenching at 1000 C can achieve better microstructure and hardness.
3Cr13 martensitic stainless steel (420J2 stainless steel strip), the welding should be preheated. Austenitic stainless steel electrodes for welding with Q235 need not be preheated, such as A302.A307. When welding, control weld dilution rate, do not swing welding, use a smaller current.

3Cr13 stainless steel strip welds can be selected:
1. atmospheric corrosion resistance of G202, G207, need to pre heat 150-300 degrees, after welding tempering 700-730 degrees;
2. organic acid and heat resistant selection: G211, 150-300 degrees preheating.
3. good plasticity: A102, A107, A202, A207, A302, A307, preheating welding, thick preheating.

discontinuous coarse stria used as inner and external omaments for building,
electrical appliances and kitchen utensils etc.
NO.4
Polished with abrasive belt of grit#150#180,have better brightness with
discontinuous coarse stria, but thinner than NO.3, are used as bathtub
buildings inner and extemal omaments electrical appliances kitchen
utensils and food processing
